Moment of integrity

A young, junior policeman stopped our bus and booked the driver for overcapacity and modifying the seating arrangements.

Just as things were getting serious, an older, higher-ranking officer appeared, had a private conversation with the driver, and let him off without further action.

Kudos to the young cop for having the courage to enforce the law—a rare sight on our highways. If more young officers were encouraged and supported, we could see a real improvement in road safety.

It’s moments like this that give hope for change, if only they are backed by the system.

This blog is a mix of everything. Some posts are random ideas I had while walking, others are unfiltered rants, and some are just thoughts that wouldn’t leave me alone. I mostly write about travel stories, personal thoughts, Nepalese life and politics, football fandom, and stray ideas.
