Hi, I’m Navin Shakya!

I’m an engineering geologist with over 15 years of experience, mainly working on hydropower and transmission line projects. My work is all about combining geology with engineering to figure out how geological hazards, like landslides or earthquakes, could affect construction sites and infrastructure.

I specialize in identifying potential geological risks during site investigations, project design and project implementation. I’m also experienced in leading teams, authoring comprehensive geological assessments, and innovating risk mitigation strategies for complex geological environments. My goal is to help keep projects running smoothly while protecting the environment and making sure essential infrastructure stays strong and safe.

Right now, I’m the Senior Manager of the Energy Business at Golyan, where I continue to focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
